CREATING A "PRESS READY" PDF FILE: QUARK XPRESS 7.2 |

• FOUR COLOR/CMYK FILES:
- Open your file in Quark XPress.
- Select "File > Export > Layout as PDF..."
- A Dialogue Box will appear.
- Choose a folder to store your new PDF.
- In the "PDF Style" pull-down menu select "Press - High Quality/High Resolution".
- Name your file in the "Save As" field.
- Click the "Save" button.

• FILES WITH SPOT COLORS:
- Follow Steps 1–5 above.
- Click the "Options" button which appears below the "PDF Style" pull-down menu.
- A new Dialogue Box will appear displaying a list of Options you can apply to your file.
- Select "Color" from the list.
- Select "Composite" from the "Mode" pull-down menu.
- Select "As Is" from the "Setup" pull-down menu.
- Click the "OK" button.
- Click the "Save" button
